why in the world is spanish the default kb layout

For whatever reason the layout selection script never runs for me, and the default locale is spanish. I really wish this was still maintained as I really like these dotfiles.

For newbies who don't want to dig through the install scripts to know what method the author used to change the layout, you can solve this by editing ~/.xinitrc and replacing "setxkbmap es" with "setxkbmap us".
