Ah ok now I understand what you mean, sorry. IIRC the Ubuntu repository has only one package available. If that is using libusb, then you will need to manually compile...

The same happens on Linux as well when running with Java 8. Upgrading to Java 17 fixes the issue, so I think that could be a solution for Windows as...

Looks like an unhandled exception which needs fixing in the code. I can look into it if umlet dev does not respond, should be an easy fix.

any updates on this? I am experiencing exactly the same issue on Kubuntu with every Flatpaked Java application.

I think this should be reported to the openjdk extension repo?

thanks you for this suggestion, sadly it does not solve the issue. The text does look different, so it does _something_, but it is nowhere near where it should be....
