can`t make in the ubuntu 14.04 lts

when i make in the "Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS Release: 14.04 Codename: trusty" with this error make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

Did you try ./make  ?
