ZMK keyboard not able to enter BIOS for HP z2

I'm not able to use the keyboard before boot to OS even use the USB port.

Please retest now that #1793 has been merged.

(Confirming whether NKRO is enabled or disabled would be a good idea too.)

Note that the setting defaults to off after #2018 pending further testing, you'd need to enable it manually using CONFIG_ZMK_USB_BOOT=y to test.

My comment instructed the submitter to try with the new boot protocol setting enabled (CONFIG_ZMK_USB_BOOT=y).

I don't own this hardware, so I have no idea whether its UEFI implementation in particular is buggy w/r/t NKRO. But it is not uncommon for NKRO to present problems with pre-login input generally—so if you're troubleshooting/fault-finding, worth disabling to see if anything changes.
