The original inkscape forum posting Classical hatch patterns for mechanical drawings had a LGPL v3 License.

Happily though this was repackaged as Patterns for mechanical drawings in Inkscape which has a more permissive CC0 license.

The license here should be updated to the more permissive one (CC0) which is fully GPL/LGPL compatible.
