zoom in easy way using mouse?

I use Firefox. I was wondering if I can zoom in an out easily using just the mouse. Theoretically, I could use your extension to do this. With Wheel Gestures I can hold left/right button then scroll up with the wheel to zoom in and scroll down to zoom out. but practically it didn't work well it was too buggy. Open image in a new tab in firefox to test this well. could this option be as smooth as using the normal ctrl+wheel?
