Switch tab with wheel gestures not working, others do

Switching tabs with RIGHTCLICK+wheel doesn't work at all with Edge on Mac. When I set the same gesture to a different command (for example Close tab), it works as expected. Any clues? Edge 98.0.1108.62 on Monterey 12.2.1, Smartup gestures 7.0.130.1130.
