smart up gestures and touchpads

I use an Apple Magic Touchpad 1 (AMT1) with the smart up gestures (SUG) extension for couch surfing and watching Youtube on a larger display without a keyboard (onscreen keyboard for occasional typing).

The Mouse Gestures are less convinient, since I have to mechanically click down the AMT1 with both fingers along the full gesture path to emulate mouse right clicked gestures with the AMT1.

But I found Simple Drag (never understood Super Drag ;-) very useful. Since a Simple Drag can be invoked be "tap+tap with short drag" (no mechanical click down required), most required actions (search for text images / open link in background / copy URL, image, text / save image / ) can be handled with this convinient "tap+tap with short drag" into various directions. Unfotunately however only text, image or link related actions can be started this way. I cannot close the tab or add a bookmark with a simple drag of text for example ... Could you allow to start all commands with Simple Drags (of text, because it is always there) or dragging "nothing in it areas"?

An more intuitive option would be to introduce touchpad SmartuUp gestures. The problem is not to interfe with the OS features, since most two, three and four finger swipes are used already in Windows and Chrome-OS. The only "free gestures" seem to be gestures starting with three fingers down (three fingers up, left and right are used in Chrome-OS already / for finger swipes left and right also). It would be a nice feature, being able to use three fingers touchpad swipes starting with a down swipe to invoke SUG commands.

Thanks
