ci: automated testing

This is just a reminder to add some level of basic automated testing. I don't believe we really need to add extensive testing though i would like to add these for us to have a level of confidence that everything renders at least when libraries are updated or pr's are merged. So a few basic ones to make sure the different views should suffice.
