Feature: More Tactile UI
The pomodoro technique works better with more physical/auditory feedback.
Some ideas to add more:
- For the start button, add some more animation and a color change to it when it is started, and some duller animation when it is stopped
- Add an option to hold down the start button to start, or some other more meaningful action than clicking (like dragging something etc)
- Add some concise sound effects, with the option to turn them off. For example, when finishing a focus cycle, when getting to a long break etc.
- For tasks, add a tick box with animations + sound, similar to Microsoft Todo which does this very well. It's like a pavlovian reward for completing tasks.
- Make it off by default, but add a quiet ticking sound
a tick on every second, it helps me stay focused. so, to add to sound effects, clock ticking that can be enabled or disabled.
That's really a nice features to be added soon. Sorry for the late response @CptDinosaur @matiasmoyano . After I finish my project this year, hoping that I could accommodate your requested features.
I'm planning to do some housekeeping of my code, making it more open-source friendly so that anyone can contribute easily.
Thanks and regards.
