Show timer when minimized
When minimised the app disappears into the Gnome title bar and we can track the remaining time as a circular progress bar. It would be nice to have an option of seeing a timer instead.

I tried to do it before bud sadly, it's not doable. Tray icon has some limitations also. Forcing to display the timer instead of progress indicator will make the number super small because I already tried it.

Your Pomodoro application seems to be very nice, but... the lack of this feature (displaying the remaining time in the Gnome status bar icon) makes it unusable for me. I think it is also a problem for some other people, not only for me.
Yes, the numbers are super small, but are still visible, and if you implement this feature only as "option" it will be not a big problem. Apropos, for example the "Pomodoro Logger" (https://github.com/zxch3n/PomodoroLogger) has this feature implemented.

I think just the mins left small number sounds like a good idea, especially on operating systems that allow larger status bars. I can take a look into possibly so ill reopen this for now to look at as an optional setting.
