This is the source code of open-source software. You can see it. Why can't you trust it

Are you confirming that this code has malware? open-source is no guarantee of anything
You claimed to search the rest of the issue list but clearly didn't because what's going on here is already well known.
TrafficMonitor has the option to use LibreHardwareMonitor for some of its monitoring capabilities. LibreHardwareMonitor previously made use of the WinRing0 driver, and that driver is now persona non grata per Microsoft due to a security issue. There is a replacement - PawnIO - that LibreHardwareMonitor is being updated to use - nightly builds now use it - and in several issues in this repo there's a description of how you can grab this latest version of LibreHardwareMonitor and use it instead.
This kind of spammy FUD campaign helps nobody.
latest version of LibreHardwareMonitor
As already mentioned in other threads using the latest version of LibreHardwareMonitor did not make any difference. Please stop spamming the thread.

I misphrased. It's the latest nightly build of LibreHardwareMonitor that works around the issue. Not the latest stable release. This does work and I can confirm that it works.
I'm currently using the nightly from 17 September 2025 on my own system. It functions and I have no trojans or viruses.

Thank you @Viqsi
I downloaded the latest nightly build from here: https://nightly.link/LibreHardwareMonitor/LibreHardwareMonitor/workflows/master/master/LibreHardwareMonitor.zip and copied LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll and nothing else. Didn't even install PawnIO and it seems to work. So far no security alerts!
