1.14: Docs: Fixed and remove broken links to HMC books

Rolls back PR #1459 into 1.14.1. No review needed.

DO NOT MERGE: This PR still contains the SSGHLT based links (e.g. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSGHLT/pdf/SC27-2627-00a.pdf) which will in the next weeks be transitioned to the module based links (e.g. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/module_1687361734185/pdf/SC27-2637-01a.pdf). Once the new links are available, the PR needs to be updated accordingly.

coverage: 80.558%. remained the same when pulling 2e2a46d3c9ea084a3f120073cfaa72b27aa84325 on 1.14/andy/fix-book-links into 4e5f9e304a163e3252a216818d0d1e9688ca1598 on stable_1.14.
