depth to real distance

Hi, suppose that D denotes the depth map. I just wonder whether the value of D equals real distance(mm)?

I'm considering the same problem. Since colmap can only give relative depth, then how to get the real depth?

You would have to have a known measurement in both frames. Even then it may not be that accurate.
