Request: PDF Viewer

The application is really simple and useful. Having a text editor is also a nice detail. Thanks so much again. Wouldn't it be great if there was also a pdf viewer and we made Material Files the default PDF reader?

You can always install a PDF viewer app, that's the Android/Linux philosophy. (Why make a file manager app your default PDF reader anyway)

Thanks, I've given up on making Material files a PDF reader. :D

This app has its own text editor? I have not noticed such a thing.

I am looking for a good PDF reader too. Right now I am forced to use ReadEra because there is no FOSS alternative to it. But it is a topic for another repo I suppose. I agree with other comment here that sticking with Unix philosophy and making each app be good at only on thing is the better approach.

Yes, I use ReadEra too. I make many searches with the file manager during the day. It would be much better if the same application opened directly when I clicked on it. If it have a text viewer and editor, I think a black PDF viewer would suit that application.

This is kinda off-topic, but MJ PDF is a simple FOSS PDF reader. I don't think Material Files needs an integrated reader.
