Installation on Linux Mint 22 fails
I saw #76 and that there was something changed in response to it ( #74 ) , but it still fails for me.
This error still happened for me with a fresh Linux Mint 22 I downloaded and installed yesterday.
Running curl -s https://install.zerotier.com | sudo bash gives me

What am I doing wrong?
By the way, the content of zerotier.list with the unchanged installation command is
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/zerotier-debian-package-key.gpg] http://download.zerotier.com/debian/ main
and for the specific script I tried below it is
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/zerotier-debian-package-key.gpg] http://download.zerotier.com/debian/wilma wilma main
I just changed the zerotier.list after running the failing curl -s https://install.zerotier.com | sudo bash manually to
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/zerotier-debian-package-key.gpg] http://download.zerotier.com/debian/wilma wilma main
Afterwards I was able to install zerotier-one via apt-get. Which makes no sense, as it is the same as the line from the second command. Was download.zerotier.com down spuriously today?
well, you're not alone..
Using Ubuntu codename works for me. I am using noble since Linux Mint 22.x is based on Ubuntu 24.04.
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/zerotier-debian-package-key.gpg] http://download.zerotier.com/debian/noble noble main
Had the same issue on Mint 22.2 but used the snap package as a workaround and it worked for me.
Keep in mind that from Linux Mint 20 onwards Snap is blocked so I had to unblock it.
