Stopped Working Again

Open drytoast45 opened this issue 1 year ago • 8 comments

Recently this script seems to have stopped working again. It shows the Go To Channel option in the menu but when clicking on it nothing happens.

@zerodytrash I can confirm this, doesn't work on my end despite being logged-in.

Whoops I didn't mean to close the issue. It still doesn't work and I haven't seen any updates.

Zerody said to me that he doesn't have a lot of time right now, so I guess we have to wait.

The Addon still works by the way, just a little bit different. Clicking "Visit Channel" does nothing for now, but if you hover over "Visit Channel", right click on it and use "Open in a new Tab" it will still open the Channel of the User (in a new Tab). I tested this in Chrome just now.

@DieHardjagged Thank you for this hint, didn't think of trying that before.. the trick with "right-clicking" the button works on Firefox as well. It should be hopefully a fairly simple fix, then.

I have the feeling it's something with line 131. my assumption is YouTube changed this function, but I have no clue how to even get started debugging this lol. the ideal is to use GM_openInTab

Thank you for this tip. Hopefully its a simple fix but this is a suitable workaround for now.
