According to Violent Monkey, latest version is 2.5.7.

Edit: Switched to greasy fork instead which has 2.5.10. Still the same issue though.

Could you provide us with the logs in the developer console in a screenshot or text format? Press F12 and filter for "Simple-YouTube-Age-Restriction-Bypass" after you notice the behavior.

My Tampermonkey was stuck to 2.5.9, because it was stuck to the old (?) https://update.greasyfork.org/scripts/423851/Simple%20YouTube%20Age%20Restriction%20Bypass.user.js update URL.

"Re-installing" updates to 2.5.10 (see README.md), and works ✌️

in the end it works, but always only at least the second time (you need to refresh the page F5) or even more attempts and you need Ctrl-F5

Hi there. The script was working perfectly for me until a few days ago. Now it always asks me to sign in to confirm I'm not a bot.

I'm using v 2.5.11

Is google trying to stop this from working? I pasted my dev console output, but I'm not sure if I did it right.

@frjoethesecond Thanks, yes that's what I was looking for.

Unfortunately I expected more information to be on there. Sometimes people in different regions get slightly different versions of YouTube and sometimes it turns out YouTube is conducting an experiment with new version on some people. And that can tend to break things real fast.

I tried messing with my browser addons. If I disable ublock, it lets me watch stuff without signing in like before.

The solution I'm using now is to turn off ublock and use a monkey script to block ads instead. I'm sure there's other data being harvested outside the ads, but what can you do?

Edit: I removed a CPU optimisation script I was using for YouTube and replaced it with a different one. Now it's working with ublock enabled again.

For me it happens on most R rated vids. For example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPXvMmcXxO8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyRXk_pxT64 With unrated it's hit or miss. Some it works others it doesn't

@Bolongna Looks like there is something wrong with the videos itself. The problem occurs even with it disabled.

Edit: Never mind got it playing in a different browser. It looks like these type of videos have extra protections, perhaps DRM. Needs further investigation.
