Does this reproduct when running with no plugins?
I still cannot reproduce this issue, please check this still happens on 1.8.2 and note if this is immediate or if it takes time to crash
BD absolutely does not touch that or cause those animations to play. If you have any plugins/themes enabled this could happen

Can you see if it still occurs after removing all plugins and reloading?
