This FR is in response to a request from @schustmi.

The Kaniko project has been archived by Google as of early June 2025.

However, Chain Guard have subsequently forked Kaniko to provide bug-fixes and other minor contributions to maintain the project.

Per @schustmi comments from my old PR (https://github.com/zenml-io/zenml/pull/4036).

..our current implementation still uses the unmaintained container images (of Kaniko).
