just a few ideas on the topic in case anyone is interested

  • check last deploy and not cancelled
  • serial ... Pipeline + PipelineExecution + PipelineStep
  • only modify when not executing
  • only one at a time
  • pipeline delegates to step for display / status
  • show on project view + new pipelines tab
  • datadog-step for metric (>= / <= X + scope) or monitor (reuse deploy-groups logic)
