What happened?

I cannot authenticate using biometrics because it doesn't register

The notification pops up, but nothing happens, it does trigger any reponse

Expected behavior

Biometric authentication on https://signin.aws.amazon.com/signin?

Actual behavior

Nothing happens, it doesn't alert me of anything

Steps to reproduce

Trying to sign in to Amazon Q Developer using Root password. I have a MacOS passkey setup, which triggers the biometric auth, but it doesn't work.
