What happened?

Bug Description:

After updating Zen Browser, a floating popup window appears containing a search bar labeled “Search with Google or enter address.” The popup cannot be closed or interacted with—the input field is unresponsive. However, interaction with the rest of the browser is still possible. The persistent popup obstructs part of the screen and affects user experience.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Zen Browser after the latest update.

  2. Observe the popup window that appears immediately.

Expected Behavior:

The popup should be dismissible or usable for entering a search query or address.

Actual Behavior:

The popup is stuck on the screen:

  1. Cannot be closed

  2. Input field is unresponsive

System Details:

  • Zen Browser version: 1.12.8b (Firefox 138.0.4) (64-bit)
