~~Must be on your side (extensions or some other things interfering) because~~ It's working great here on Windows and MacOS.

~~Have same issue on official build of Google Chrome, lol~~

Found solution here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=289645

TL;DR Twitch do not allow using UTC timezone. Change TZ matched to IP location and logged in successful with Google Chrome and Zen Browser

Hi, @lennyblk. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the desktop team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You reported an inability to connect to Twitch using version 1.11.2b on Windows x64, with an unsupported browser message.
  • Saeverix suggested it might be a local issue, but DioLps confirmed the same problem.
  • Sr-tream shared a solution from an Arch Linux forum: changing the timezone to match the IP location, which resolved the issue for them.

Next Steps:

  • Please confirm if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the desktop repository. If so, you can keep the discussion open by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, this issue will be automatically closed in 7 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
