Thumbwheel MX Master 3s to switch a workspace

What happened?

I have an issue with the horizontal wheel on my MX Master 3s, I can't use the thumbwheel to switch a workspace. The problem arises when I use Logi Options+. In Logi Options+, the default settings for the thumb wheel are set to manipulate Scroll Left and Scroll Right, rather than allowing for true horizontal scrolling.

This is proven when I use the BetterMouse app and set the thumbwheel as a button (not as a horizontal scroll wheel), as shown in the image below.

It can't switch the workspace until I set the thumbwheel to function as a horizontal wheel, which works as expected. However, the speed of the horizontal wheel is too fast, causing it to switch the workspace multiple times instead of just once.

Please support scroll left and scroll right for the workspace switcher. This feature will allow most MX Master 3s users to switch between workspaces, whether they are using LogiOptions or BetterMouse.

why is this closed.. this still is not working as of this posting on latest release. this is THE ONE issue stopping me from switching away from Arc which I've been wanting to do for few months already. but the way this issue would affect my workflow is too major to just look past.. Please reopen this

I agree, please reopen this. Wierdly, thumbwheeling to switch workspaces works as expected with my MX Master 1, but it does not work with the MX Master 2S.
