Closing a tab switches to a particular previously visited tab instead of the immediately previous

What happened?

Very briefly:

1. While on an open tab...
2. Open a tab with ctrl+t, search and browse for a while
3. Close the tab created in (2.), usually with ctrl+w
4. Zen goes back to a tab that was open a while ago, not the tab I was on at (1.)

Expected behavior

Zen should go back to the last tab when closing the active tab

Actual behavior

Zen switches to a random tab from previously open in the session

Steps to reproduce

I have the same issue. When closing a tab, Zen will switch to the "owner" tab (if the closed tab was opened from another one), or the adjacent tab below the closed one otherwise.

Instead of the adjacent tab I'd like it to go to the last used tab, which is what Arc does.

For now I'm using the Select After Closing Current extension to achieve this.
