Stereo support?

I tried to seed a stereo sound to a channel at two different rates: 48000 and 24000. In the both cases they got down-mixed to mono. I'm not sure where the downmixing occurs - either in the Zello mobile app (Android) or at the server. Yet I believe that Opus doesn't impose such restrictions, so they look quite artificial.
