Jump words with option arrow keys on mac

In my alacritty terminal, I can jump words wih Option and arrow keys, though when I start a zellij session, this no longer works.

I'd like to be able to:

• Jump word by word with option arrow keys
• Jump to start/end of the line with command arrow keys
