Enhancement: Create new DEVONthink note

Any possibility for adding functionality to quickly create and open a new note in DT? This functionality would provide less friction when creating notes (instead of going directly into DT or using the sidebar widget that is included with installations). I would like to use DT to create "quick notes" but it often takes several steps to get to the right place using the mouse.

For instance: dvnn --> bring up list of "Favorites" (for rapid access to groups where you would normally store notes)

Upon choosing favorite (folder), you would have the option to type the title of note (or nothing for an empty title) and a new note would open in DT, ready for input.

Advanced options would include having the ability to specify a default note type (such as markdown) or the ability to specify the note type (such as dvnn md or dvvn txt)
