Unavailable tweets
Has Nitter started showing why tweets are unavailable? I once saw "This tweet has been deleted by the tweet author" but other times I see this tweet is unavailable
If not, could we start showing why tweets aren't there?
I've seen situations where even Twitter dot com itself doesn't display the correct reason why a tweet is unavailable.
For example, somebody's quote-retweet will show "This Tweet is unavailable" instead of showing the actual tweet. But when I click on the link of the tweet being quote-retweeted and go directly to that tweet, it will state "Age-restricted adult content. This content might not be appropriate for people under 18 years old. To view this media, you’ll need to log in to Twitter."
I think I've seen the situation that you're describing too on Twitter dot com, where a quote-retweet of a deleted tweet shows "This Tweet is unavailable."
So it appears that this is a Twitter dot com problem, not a Nitter problem.
Based on zedeus's comment here, the "This Tweet is unavailable" message is shown because that's the information Nitter is getting from Twitter dot com (even if that message is not specific enough or outright incorrect).
even if the tweet is unavailable can nitter at least show the tweet id/nitter link for the unavailable tweet?
