First of all i want to say: THANK YOU!!! nitter is so light and convenient to read. I don't know about what Twitter thought when did so heavy version of site: i tried different browsers and turn off addons but now it is heavy as facebook. for chatting i use tweetdest with addon better tweetdeck (but it is heavy too T_T)
Is there way to back old twitter photo search in nitter? When results were just photos like this http://followthehashtag.com/content/uploads/feature-images.jpg (and when you click on photo you see in what tweet it is http://followthehashtag.com/content/uploads/feature-images_popup.jpg ) and results are photos where subject was tagged or word was in tweet. Now if you search some person with filter: images results show replies and tweet to this person instead just photos of this person
I think what you're asking for is a 'photo gallery' mode, in which case yes, it's on my todo list. The main obstacle is figuring out what UI element would represent that, a "Photos" tab is not general enough. Let me know if you have any ideas.

This is a bit old and maybe you thought of something else but even just a "media" tab would be great. I am looking for something like this, i used to have a bot that mirrored my twitter to a mastodon and it let me filter posts to only ones with media. I am trying to find something else as that bots long dead and no longer works. i use twitter to follow artists but i dont want all the text posts and retweets i just want media from the one user i am following.
@lordkitsuna I appreciate the input, but Nitter already has a Media tab for profiles, and for global search you can use the dropdown filter menu and select Media. What this doesn't provide is a photo "gallery" view with large photos and no text.
