Nitter not infinite scrolling after certain time elapsed on page

Nitter stops infinite scrolling when you scroll down to the end of the page, while you have the Infinite scrolling (experimental, requires JavaScript) setting turned on, seemingly if some certain amount of time has passed since the page was loaded.

This may become problematic when one is engrossed in reading a lot of content on a certain profile page.
