Describe the feature
Allow filtering extensions by their type; theme extensions, file icon extensions, language extensions, utility extensions, etc... Maybe there should be an option to specify a "type" in extension.json.
If applicable, add mockups / screenshots to help present your vision of the feature

Having this filtered out would be ideal and more user friendly to allow for separating out themes, icons, and what we normally treat as extensions. Having them combined appears to show more themes than actual extensions so discovery of community extensions becomes artificially difficult.
