Select multiple files/folders in the file tree to copy or move them

Describe the feature

At the moment I can't seem to select multiple files/folders by click and then shift+click, or click and then cmd+click.

It would be nice to be able to move or copy files/folders from one place to another. Much of my workflow involves copying a few files/folders from one folder to another, so this would be fantastic (and VSCode is extremely slow at it, for some reason).

If applicable, add mockups / screenshots to help present your vision of the feature

Adding my enthusiastic 👍 to this request. It's core functionality in switching from VS Code that's very much needed.

My other issue was closed in as a duplicate of this, so adding my feature request here:

  • [ ] Within the File Explorer panel, add a right-click context menu option for "duplicate file or directory". This would behave similar to this: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=mrmlnc.vscode-duplicate i.e. Right-click on a file, select "duplicate file or directory", allow editing the file name, and confirm it when "enter" is pressed.
