Unable to install extensions on new laptop. No feedback provided by Zed.
Summary
Zed is apparently unable to install extensions, but I get no feedback from the editor outside of a small mouse cursor change.
Description
I'm trying to setup a new work laptop which is a MacBook provisioned with Jamf and all the assorted network proxy nonsense one can expect from large corporate IT deployments. When I select an extension to install the only thing that happens is my mouse cursor briefly displays a 🚫 under the cursor.
Expected Behavior:
I would expect that when there is a policy or network issue that prevents Zed from installing an extension, that there would be some feedback to the user to help diagnose the issue or provide enough information to let them make a request to their IT department.

Zed Version and System Specs
Zed: v0.187.5 (Zed) OS: macOS 15.5.0 Memory: 48 GiB Architecture: aarch64
I ran Zed in the terminal and could see the URL that was failing, when opening it with curl or safari you get the notice that this url is blocked by the corp proxy.
While I wait for the security team to decide whether to make an exception for Zed extensions I'm wondering how the experience can be improved for users when this happens. Both in a way to detect and communicate the problem, but also what sort of options could there be to get extensions in these scenarios. 🤔
Minor update, corporate security request was denied and I was told that "Zed is not approved for use".
Bummer!
