Summary

Copilot models are missing in the dropdown menu of the model selector. I cannot sign out my GitHub account nor sign in GitHub in the notification center either.

I have the same problem. I tried subscribing to Zed Free hoping that would solve the problem. But the problem remains - only the warning that I am not subscribed is gone. Still can't use models from Github Copilot and the "Sign out" button does not work.

I managed to fix this by reinstalling copilot (i use it for edit_prediction_provider so i had the button next to the agent panel button that let me do this. Then i could sign out from copilot in the agent settings, then quit and restart zed. Finally in the agent settings i was able to sign in again, and the models returned

I solved this by installing the previous version...

BTW, how to reinstall the copilot? Could you please maybe attach a screenshot?

I’m using an M4 Mac Mini, and I experience the same issue. It usually happens after a power cut—when the power returns and I turn the Mac Mini back on, Zed restores the previously opened editors, doesn't shows copilot models and also it shows the “Login” button. Clicking it doesn’t do anything. However, if I quit and reopen Zed, all my Copilot models load correctly.

Is this still happening on the latest Zed? Looks like a stale issue, so I'm going to go ahead and close it. If you still face the same issue, let me know and attach the Zed log along with it.

The same thing happened to me just now. I started up Zed, and GitHub Co-Pilot models disappeared. I restarted Zed, and they appeared again. I'm on Windows 11, Zed 0.209.6 Please let me know if I can supply more info.

#42443 I opened a new issue for this, and the log suggests that if copilot models failed to load the first time, it won't be loaded again.
