Frequent Disconnects / Doesn't automatically reconnect

Summary

My team is using Zed, and we are frequently disconnected at random. Zed does not auto-reconnect, nor does it have an option to reconnect that I can see.

Description

While using Zed, I'm experiencing frequent disconnections regardless of channel status. These disconnections are indicated by a cloud icon in the top right corner, signaling lost connection to Zed services:

The issue prevents use of channel notes, contacts, and other cloud-dependent functionality, requiring a complete editor reload to restore connectivity. The frequency of these disconnections has increased noticeably in recent weeks. My setup includes Ubuntu 24.10 with Zed 0.185.10 installed via flatpak, and I'm running with default configurations without any custom modifications that might cause this behavior.

Steps to reproduce: No real steps to reproduce. I'm working on code and it randomly disconnects.

Expected Behavior: Stay connected to the cloud, and if there is a disconnect (from computer going to sleep, internet outage, etc), Zed should auto reconnect or have a button to reconnect.

Actual Behavior: Zed disconnects at random.

(edit: just saw .12 was released today, so I upgraded and will report back) (edit 2: it hasn't happened as frequent with .12, but my notes did get disconnected)

There is a client: reconnect command in the command palette (Ctrl-Shift-P). Usually works for me.

Automatic reconnect would definitely be nice to have though.

Thanks! Totally forget to check for that. Yeah, automatic reconnect would be really nice. It's definitely less frequent on the .12 version, but still is happening.

Seems to be fixed. At least for me, Zed was always connected for almost a week without the need to manually reconnect.

It's definitely not fixed. I got disconnected today, and had to reload because reconnect didn't work.

I am still having the issue. client: reconnect sometimes work. It is quiet random. I am on a M2 mac.

Arch Linux, pacman install of Zed 0.200.5. Can't even sign in. Hitting sign in and cloud pops up, no matter what. Killed my VPN and same deal.
