Remote connections drop

Summary

Remote connections are lost after a few minutes of inactivity.

Description

This happens across a number of Remote Projects that I have set up with Digitalocean Droplets / servers. Seems to occur after ~5 minutes of me not interacting with Zed. Changes are saved locally to files, but the process is frustrating - especially as any terminals using that connection are frozen.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have a SSH remote connection
  2. After a few minutes of inactivity, the connection is often 'lost'
  3. One must then either:
  • Quit & restart Zed
  • Wait for Zed to present the 'lost connect' dialogue with a 'Reconnect' button

Expected Behavior:

  • For Zed to maintain the connection
  • To have a command to manually reconnect (instead of just waiting)
