Assistant: render markdown inside assistant panel.

Description

using other assistant apps (chatgpt, claude.ai, ...) they'll usually render markdown in the output. It'd be nice if the assistant had this capability.

Considering that there is "markdown preview" functionality already, I'd assume this should be possible.

I'd like the assistant output

to mirror that of the "markdown preview" output

Please be aware that markdown will often be broken when there are code blocks nested within code blocks (happens a lot when an LLM returns a code block of documentation that includes internal code blocks). Was a problem for me in Cursor and I was glad to see Zed didn't have that issue. So, if this is implemented, please make it optional.

Zed is nice, but I can't believe the assistant panel does not render markdown and code blocks like every other AI editor.

There is no markdown support in the assistant still. It would be amazing to see that on Zed
