Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

Some display panels that are layered over others don't seem to have functional transparency, or I made a mistake, but also text has no support for transparency values

Environment

Zed: v0.137.0 (Zed Nightly 410c46a5517e397890580c21dab13575e7839d5a)
OS: macOS 14.4.1
Memory: 36 GiB
Architecture: aarch64

Tested on Stable, Preview, & Nightly

Multi layered panels loosing all transparency

Text lacking transparency just becomes grayer but has no colour pass through from background
