Multiple cursors are "reset" when adding another after moving lines

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it
If you add a cursor below (or above, it happens for both), move the cursor to another line (in my case I'm using Vim mode), then try to add another cursor below, it's like the number of cursors was "reset", so now you only have one added cursor below the original one.
That was confusing so, uh... If you add two cursors, so you have three total, then move down one line and try to add a fourth cursor, what happens instead is you're reset back to one, then another is added, giving you a total of two.

Zed: v0.134.4 (Zed) OS: macOS 14.4.0 Memory: 8 GiB Architecture: aarch64

This also happens in non-vim mode. It's really annoying. I've been meaning to make an issue about it for a while, but I never got round to it. I would love if this could be fixed. It's been driving me mad.
