Describe the feature
A way to disable the current word highlight feature would be great. Or a way to limit it to specific parts of the code. I personally find it kinda distracting if every "string" or "int" in my code gets highlighted if my cursor is over a type definition. Highlighting variable names is nice tho :).
If applicable, add mockups / screenshots to help present your vision of the feature

Oh sorry, I really did search the issues, looks like I missed #6843
Should I close this issue, or keep it open due to the "only highlight some things" idea? It's not really important or a thing that many people would use
