Project Panel - New Directory or Renaming - Vim mode doesn't allow for directory names to be entered

With vim mode turned on, I'm attempting to create a new directory in the project pane, naming the directory register. I'm unable to enter any characters that are already assigned to vim motions, for example: r, h, j, k, l, o and others assigned to the normal vim motions.

It's as if the vim motions take precedent over entering into the new directory name.

Zed: v0.132.2 (Zed) OS: macOS 14.4.1 Memory: 16 GiB Architecture: aarch64
