Mechanism to configure shortcuts
Hitting Ctrl-Q
to exit the program will trigger a info box saying "Use 'Configure Shortcuts' from the 'Settings' menu to solve the ambiguity".
There is however neither a "Settings" menu or "Configure Shortcuts" anywhere.
The other related issue is that "Ctrl-Q" should not be hijacked for "Preferences" - it's "Quit" by standard elsewhere and opening the Preferences is presumably such a rare occurrence that it probably doesn't deserve a shortcut key. If that was configurable, it would be that big a deal obviously.
Note: this is on 0.6.0
Agreed, it would be nice to:
- Add keymap support so I can select a keymap to use for different keybindings (e.g. Emacs, Vi, etc.).
- Add keymap in preferences so each shortcut is individually configurable.
