Feature request: Distance tracker

Hi I have an idea of adding a distance tracker to the left corner information. These are the trackers that might be useful: Tracking the distance:

1. from start point
2. from specific waypoint
3. remaining to the end point
4. remaining to specific waypoint
5. for specific time period. (Show traveled distance per specified amount of time. For ex.: 1.38 km traveled in the last five minutes)
6. where every specified amount of distance it will show how long it took to make it. (For ex.: Last 5 km took 34 minutes. 12 seconds --or-- Last 5 km took 34min 12sec)

I do support the request of this feature (especially #1 and #3) . And if permitted i want add a suggestion : if the info fields (time, speed, gps location, and eventually distance info as per this suggestion) could be switched on/off individually that would be great (eg the info GPS location and speed are not always of interest if you have multiple tracks running).

I'm doubling the offer! In the 'information' field, add the optional distance traveled (now there are coordinates/speed/date).

@McPringle Thanks cool for a cool project! It's been a couple of years since the feature was requested, is it worth expecting in the near future?

I'd like to also support this request, if 1 (from start point), and 3 (to end point) were available as metadata tags in the info fields that'd be SUPER helpful!
