Thats a good idea, i wanted to reuse conditions and translations from ID editor, but didnt get to it yet. But it is a very hard problem to tackle, i would expect 10+ hours, so not probable to happen now.

the app can use locales from https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/tree/32104684f7fe70bac494ede1f7249a6cf19a63ec/config/locales

This will be addressed properly in #116. I am starting to fiddle with iD presets. 🙂
