Everything seems like it should theoretically work -- especially now that vlc can be compiled with omx support.

The hard part is getting vlc running...

got vlc running! still running into timeout/perf issues though

So, VLC can run on the rpi, but youtube.py cannot play videos without skipping. It might be related to events firing? Audio only works fine.

Will revisit after release.
