Do you mean the saved data is lost on its own, or only when you explicitly clear the browser cache?
The data is stored in the virtual filesystem saved to IndexedDB by CheerpJ, as long as the IDB database survives, the data should be there.
But in case you clear the cache manually - there's an "export"/"import" feature, you can export the emulator state as a ZIP file, clear the cache and then import that file.
Let me know if there's a bug and solutions above fail for some reason.
hi there, I think I know what is this guy talking about, after your recent update, our save files will be lost after just a simple refresh while it wasn't like this before & also it's still ok on the game that I've embeded last time
Hmm, I was not able to reproduce that behaviour.. I tried both the builtin game settings and some other uploaded game (Bounce) and did refresh multiple times, on both Chromium and Firefox.
Maybe this is an issue with a specific game?
Let me know which games stopped saving the data and I'll try to investigate them someday.
ok so, idk about this guy but from me, it's that sonic runners adventure again which as I said, is still ok in my embeded "site". I might try to find more later so I'll let you know. also speaking of sonic runners adventure, remember my last issue on it? It might haven't solved by anyone, but funny enough, I've simply (after disabling the sound) just skiped that loop from that specific level (5) by just going over it & I've finally barely passed that point after like 1-2 tries. guess this time I've saved enough memory for that point by doing this. & the same happened on my other devices & the rest of the game was kinda ok too. I know that was such a stupid way to solve this, but it worked 😂 edit: after trying bunch of games that I have (not only sonic games ofc), only sonic sega racing did have the same save issue, which is also a gameloft game (from 2010) but other gameloft games that I have were fine, no matter newer or older.
