Stutters every 5 seconds in the Undermine
I don't know what's going on, but after the latest update I get one massive stutter every 5 seconds, like it's loading something I guess?
@Piskemannen Do you get the stuttering if you disable all other addons expect HandyNotes and Handynotes: The War Within?
I would also recommend getting BugGrabber and BugSack, these will help flag any errors message from Handynotes or other addons.
You can use /etrace to narrow down events that get triggered when the stuttering happens

The stuttering only happens with the War Within Handynotes, but there's no errors in BugGrabber/Sack, so I don't know how to narrow it down. None of the other addons causes the stutter and this didn't happen yesterday with Hn: TWW. I can't rule out that it somehow interferes with my other addons tho.

Can you help narrow down what the things in the event log means? In game menu it says my peak CPU is 100%, which makes sense when those huge stutters happens.
Also have to add my game freezes for like 10 seconds running the event log when the stutter happens.
When I mouse over rares and vendors in the Undermine map I get a huge stutter with this addon enabled.
This is the result from CPU addon when I mouse over map icons of rares on a 9800X3D.
I ran that addon for a bit and didn't see anything of concerns on my pc, are you running any other cpu heavy tasks on your pc? and Do you normally play with the cpu profiler enabled as that isnt recommended
Here's the results for mine after about 5-10mins and I was hovering over the map icons on both the world and minimaps.
I'm having the same issue, I disabled all addons except for this addon plugin (Handynotes: The War Within by Zarillon), and my game stutters in Undermine. When I turn it off, no more stuttering. I installed the version (v116) before today's update and the stuttering also went away, so must have been something from today's updated version (v117) @zarillion

I even went as far as moving all my addons out of the folder, only keeping HandyNotes + TWW so it seems v117 does have problems at least for some people.
@tfmonk I installed that CPU addon just because of this problem, not running any heavy tasks in the background etc.
I have the same issue microsttuters only in undermine , i had a back up from last week no issues , the moment i install the handynotes update it happens again

I'm using a 3070/9800X3D (waiting for GPU prices to drop), a B650 Asus tuf plus wifi motherboard, 32GB 6000Mhz DDR5 ram, and a Kingston Fury 2TB 7000/7000 speed NVMe.
@Naifatzadepix @Piskemannen @vezevez in the options for the zone do you all have the "S.C.R.A.P heaps" option selected, if so can you untick it and let me know if it gets better or worse?
Disabling Scrap Heaps reduces the stutters spikes by 50%. So going from 120 to 80 fps during the stutters, I now go from 120 to 100. It's obvious there's more performance issues tho.
9800x3d, 4080S, 64xDDR5 6000mhz RAM. WoW is on a samsung evo 2tb nvme SSD.
I had Scrap Heaps off already, the only thing that I noticed was new in the update was the reputation vendors, but I rolled back to the previous version so don't see those anymore.
Im noticing the same issue. Had only Handy Notes + TWW plugin and my game is stuttering every 3-4 seconds while driving around Undermine. Had no issues with the addon before the last update.
Thanks for the information everyone, we are still looking into it but think we have narrowed down where the problem and are working in a solution.
