Don't load hidden files/folders

As I see within the new features included : Add "CompactPlaylist" hidden setting

VLC loads media directories: my music, my photos, my videos, but it DOESN'T DISPLAY HIDDEN FILES. It only only works halfway; it has its pros and cons.

It's UI, not related to hidden files.

Well, I don't quite understand then, in any case, it would be the same as running the program "as root", at least in Linux; it would be "a private instance"!

Hidden setting means that setting (CompactPlaylist in this case) is not visible to the user and user have to configure it by modifying the configuration file.
